FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why can´t i add a band?
As of 27 march 2005 we´ve stopped adding bands for a while we feel like focusing more on updating bandinfo is at this time more important.

There is a mistake in the info of band X and I can't live with it. How can this be corrected?
Use "Submit a correction" on the band page, explain what is wrong and how it should be corrected. Try to limit yourself to 1 complete request rather than several requests about the same band with minor changes. Also, please click the submit button ONLY ONCE! Only request for relevant changes and not with the most minimal comments about whatever is not entirely to your liking. We will just reject your requests in case of continuous wanking.
Allow the request a few days before it's handled, as requests end up in a queue, and available personnel to handle requests is limited. Requests are the only way to submit changes, email is not an option so don't ask for an address.

Why do you use my/ this real name instead of my nickname?
This is information that can be easily found on the net, we have no reason not to use it. Nicknames can be added, even specific for each band a member could be in. If you have a problem with it, it's not our concern that these members expose their real names so that they're posted on the internet.

I want you to review my demo.
We don't do reviews, the end. If you want to submit a demo for reviewing, contact Vampire Magazine:

Why is my submitted band not added yet, or rejected?
Submitted bands will be reviewed and only added if:
1. the info is complete enough to be featured on the site, or info can be found with basic info from the request. Try to be as accurate and complete as possible.
2. the band is a Metal band. Hardcore, Nu Metal, hardrock are generally not excepted, apart from exceptions here and there (ie Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple or relevant projects from Metal band members).
3. Due to ideological conflicts NSBM will not be added to the site if from the basic info we determine a band to have NS ideals. In some cases this is unclear, so some NSBM will be on our site already. We have no intention to remove them, but try to limit the amount of bands with these politic ideals.

The info on my band is wrong, you are idiots, delete my band.
Mistakes can be corrected as described above, mistakes are common even on the most accurate sites on the net. In general we will only remove bands if we feel we have a good reason for it.

Your site sucks, you copy this and this site, I hope you die!
Same to you! We copy nobody, our site has existed just as long or longer as many of the similar sites on the web, our focus lies on other parts than most of these other sites, we have the policy to not copy the info from other sites. A Metal database is a Metal database, and similarities are bound to arise, no matter how much you try not to be similar to others.

I have another question.
